Verity June Jewellery, a sole trader in Guernsey, is the data controller. Email me at info@verityjunejewellery.com about anything on this page.

• When you order: your name, email, phone if you give it, and your delivery address — so I can make the piece, post it, and answer questions about it. I keep orders for seven years because tax records require it.
• When you message me: your name, email and what you wrote, so I can reply.
• If you join the mailing list: your email, and your name if you give it, until you unsubscribe.

I never see your card details. SumUp handles payment and holds that information under its own privacy policy.

Only the services needed to run the shop, and only what they need:

• SumUp — to take payment.
• Vercel and Neon — the website and its database.
• Resend — to send order confirmations.
• The postal service — your address, to deliver.

Your information is never sold, and never passed to anyone for marketing.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is nothing to consent to.

Your basket is kept in your own browser’s storage so it survives a refresh; it never leaves your device except when you place an order. Signing in to the admin area sets one cookie to keep that session — that is for me, not for you.

Under the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017 you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will sort it out — there is no charge and no form to fill in.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled it you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Authority in Guernsey, at odpa.gg.
